We begin development of new app to help manage bed availability in the NHS

Throughout the UK the availability of beds in NHS wards is a major concern. Many wards are almost always full and it is very difficult to find nearby hospitals that may have availability.
Our PHP and mobile apps development team are working with NHS England to produce a pilot web app that will allow mother and baby units in the UK to share bed occupancy, so wards can quickly find available beds in other hospitals.
The pilot scheme will run in 17 hospitals and then, after the initial pilot, will expand throughout the UK.
