Secret Source launches new web app to monitor public works in Atlanta city council

Every hole in the road to lay cables or tubes requires a permit, traffic management and tight city wide control as many works can last for months and can potentially cause huge disruption. Atlanta City council had previously controlled the whole system offline with paper and fax but it was becoming difficult to control

Secret Source worked together with Apply4 LLC in the USA to build a fully bespoke online permitting system for the Atlanta city council in Georgia to monitor all public works and issue and extend permits in the city.

The site was built in Ruby on Rails and is the first app to be built using the Apply4 platform in development. It is a private web apps.apply4.com/worksapp
